March 30, 2023 – With two national events at the Orlando Kart Center already this month, Team Benik is set for the third as the 2023 Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour kicks off. Making the short drive north from South Florida, Team Benik will enter five drivers in the Mini Swift division as they look to continue the speed and success that has been established this month.
“We have had a good month that has featured race wins, podium results, and fast laps, but also some heartbreak,” expressed Team Benik’s Nick Mitchell. “We have five drivers this weekend, and all five will be able to fight at the front of the talent-filled Mini Swift field.”
The winningest Team Benik driver of the 2023 season will lead the quintet of drivers into Orlando as Kai Johnson will be joined by Marco Romero, Royce Vega, Troy Ferguson, and team newcomer Max DeGuzman.
Marking the start of their fourth national campaign this year, Team Benik will take on the Orlando Kart Center for the third consecutive event as they look to add to their results resume.
Mitchell continued, “This weekend will be a big one for us. The start of a new series sets the tone for the entire season so we will be looking to kick it off with a win and podiums.”
With unofficial practice test sessions Wednesday and Thursday, the official competition will begin Friday with practice before two separate race days featuring qualifying, prefinals, and main events on Saturday and Sunday.
