Fort Lauderdale, Florida – It is a ten driver squad for Team Benik this coming weekend at the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SpringNationals. Set to take place at the Utah Motorsports Campus in Grantsville, Utah, Team Benik will have a presence in six classes as they aim for race wins and podium results.
“It is great to be heading back to a SKUSA event,” explained Nick Mitchell. “I feel like it has been forever since we left NOLA back in early April.”
With race winning contenders in multiple classes, Royce Vega and Troy Ferguson will lead the way in the Micro Swift category. Always a threat, the duo will look to put Team Benik on top in the youngest competition category of the weekend. Kai Johnson will be the lone Team Benik driver in the Mini Swift class as he looks to continue his recent success while Beckham Toupikov will look to do the same in KA100 Junior.
A trio of fast and hungry drivers will carry the weight in the X30 Junior class as Brandon Carr, Michael Costello and Gavin Whitt will look to fight for the win while Frankie Mossman and Dalton Hanes will do the same in X30 Senior. Franco Sacripanti will throw his hat in the mix in KA100 Senior.
Mitchell continued, “We had strong runs at the WinterNationals and feel that Utah is a track where we can continue the speed and progress. Looking forward to getting the racing action underway.”
On track action will commence on Thursday with unofficial practice with rounds three and four of the SKUSA Pro Tour taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Stay tuned to the Team Benik social media pages for news, photos, results, and information from Utah.
