Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Descending on the New Castle Motorsports Park facility, Team Benik will bring eight drivers to Spiceland, Indiana for the final rounds of the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour. Dubbed the SummerNationals, Benik drivers will compete in six different classes as they hunt for race wins and podium results from the youngest class on the grid to the fastest.
Leading the way into New Castle will be United States Pro Kart Series race winner Royce Vega. Flanked by Troy Ferguson in the Micro Swift category, Vega and Ferguson provide a powerful one-two punch in the youngest class on the SKUSA docket. Enzo Vidmontiene and Gavin Whitt will throw their hats in the mix in X30 Junior as their former classmate, Michael Costello makes the big jump to Pro Shifter.
Frankie Mossman will pull double duty this coming weekend as he will see action in a pair of SKUSA classes as he looks to fight his way to the top step of the podium in X30 Senior and KA100 Senior. Ava Dobson will also join Team Benik in New Castle flying the Team Benik colors in KA100 Junior.
“It is another weekend in Indiana, and we look for it to be a winning one,” expressed Nick Mitchell. “We have a strong group of drivers and several that are riding a wave of momentum right now, and I think we can have great success this weekend.”
Set to hit the track Thursday for unofficial practice, the SummerNationals will get serious on Saturday and Sunday during two full days of competition. Stay tuned to the Team Benik social media pages for news, information, photos, and results from the event weekend.
Looking to add drivers to their program for the remainder of 2022 and onwards into 2023, Team Benik has opportunities available.
