“Back on track at Road America for Team Benik”
Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Another week and another race for Team Benik as the Florida based outfit will be back on track in Wisconsin. Taking on the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) Badger State Grand Prix at Road America with their karting contingent, the Florida based program will be looking to carry the momentum gained from August into another national event weekend.
“We are excited to get the weekend going as we have opportunities to do well in every class entered,” explained Nick Mitchell. “Our karting efforts have been gaining momentum and that was proven by our results in August. To claim wins and podiums in national level karting in the United States is great, but we want to continue that this weekend in Wisconsin.”
With three drivers traveling to the famed Road America facility, Asher Ochstein will be the sole Team Benik entry in the Micro Swift category while Michael Costello and Jeremy Fletcher will battle in the X30 Junior class. The trio of drivers showed speed and success at New Castle Motorsports Park a few weeks ago taki
ng several race wins and podium results.
Mitchell added, “As we move later in to the 2020 season, we are really gearing up our program to expand in 2021. Working on solidifying drivers for different programs across the country is our goal. Additionally, we will have a new dealer to announce next week that will help spread the footprint of the Benik brand. The Team Benik trio of Ochstein, Costello and Fletcher will hit the track on Thursday the 3rd and Friday the 4th for practice while Saturday and Sunday will lay the groundwork for two wheel-to-wheel race days.
